About the role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to join our Operations team in Liverpool.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead site maintenance activities, managing engineering resources, stores, purchasing, and planned preventative maintenance programmes.
You will coordinate engineering work orders, support continuous improvement projects, and help maintain site engineering standards.
As a key member of the Engineering team, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance activities by effectively planning, prioritising, and coordinating both internal and external engineering resources.
This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on improving equipment reliability, operational performance, and safety across the site.
Key Responsibilities Technical Lead preventative maintenance planning and support equipment reliability improvements.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to prioritise maintenance activities.
Manage critical equipment identification, inspection programmes, and statutory compliance requirements.
Maintain and develop the site CMMS.
Analyse performance data (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, budgets) to drive continuous improvement.
Apply Lean, Asset Care Excellence, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
Standards however, only those eligible to work in the UK without the need for additional immigration documentation will be considered for this position.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to complete a full 5 years' employment/educational references, a DBS check, and a health assessment.
These will need to be completed before the successful candidate can start the role.
