As Product Manager – Fluids, you will be responsible for maximising the profitability of the existing product portfolio while helping define and shape requirements for future products to support business growth. A strong level of commercial awareness will be key, as you balance performance of in-life products with identifying new market opportunities. This role will involve working in partnership with external stakeholders to understand local market conditions and share expertise from a global perspective to create best value from existing products and collect information for new projects.

This is a varied and high-profile role within a dynamic, fast-paced, multinational environment. It is ideally suited to individuals with product management or business development experience, or those looking to transition into a more commercial role from a technical or development background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise a complex product portfolio to maximise customer value, business performance, and profitability.
  • Identify and assess new market growth opportunities with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead market requirement definition and business case development for new product innovations.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies and product launches across target sectors and regions.
  • Deliver commercial training and expert guidance on product positioning, pricing, and market success.
  • Manage the product lifecycle to maximise returns and ensure an efficient, sustainable portfolio.
  • Monitor global product performance, analyse key metrics, and implement actions to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with channel managers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, support, and project delivery.

About you

  • Degree qualified or able to demonstrate a high level of technical understanding, or relevant experience in product management or a related field.
  • Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Results-driven, with the motivation and resilience to achieve objectives and deliver outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Technically competent, with the ability to engage effectively in discussions with both internal technical teams and external customers.
  • Willing to travel internationally when required (approximately 3 weeks per year) to support customer and regional business engagement.
