About the Role
About the Role We are offering an exciting opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in applied chemistry within a global company. Starting in August 2026, you’ll work alongside experienced scientists for 1 year to develop innovative inkjet formulations that meet both customer and business needs. This placement will provide valuable insight into industrial research and development while building your technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a team of scientists on formulation, testing, and experimental work using established test methods.
- Applying scientific rigor to compile, analyse, and interpret experimental data.
- Preparing clear reports and presenting findings at team meetings.
- Providing day-to-day support to the laboratory team.
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and well-kept laboratory environment.
- Following company health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
