Domex Bikes is actively hiring Mobile Bike Mechanics to service and repair our customers' bikes and deliver the very best customer service, all facilitated through our fleet of fully equipped mobile workshop vans.
Who are we? We are Domex Bikes, proud to be part of the Domex family, a leading repair specialist. Our expert mechanics carry out bicycle / e-Bike maintenance, service and repair for our customers whether at home, work or roadside, supported by our back-office customer service team. We are actively seeking proficient bike mechanics to join our team, to cover the South London and Surrey area.
What will your responsibilities be in this role?
- Service and repair customer bikes to the highest standard and with maximum reliability.
- Third party bicycle support including warranty work, bike builds and ready to ride deliveries.
- Accurately inspect, diagnose, and fix issues and faults in a required timeframe. Carbon Bike Inspection training provided.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to customers.
- Stock control on parts and consumables to be retained in van.
What skills and experience are required?
- 2 years’ experience in a professional workshop environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the cycle industry. E-bike experience preferred.
- Full UK manual driver’s licence.
- Can-do attitude and problem-solving mentality.
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.
- Cytech level 2 or higher (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
