Domex is actively seeking to hire a Driver's Mate to join our Delivery team.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely loading appliances onto a vehicle at our Epsom Warehouse, ensuring all appliances/parts are in stock.
  • Driving to customers' houses along a pre-planned route within a designated area, covering Inner and Outer London.
  • Delivering and assisting with the installation, connection, testing, and commissioning of appliances for the customer, following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Assisting the Lead Technician with parts replacement/repair, such as bearings, tap replacement, base assembly, etc., followed by safety tests as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably, hands-on experience in a manual trade such as carpentry, electrical work, construction, plumbing, or mechanical tasks.
  • Possession of a valid manual driving licence is preferred.
  • Capability to maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with customers, delivering a friendly and helpful service consistently.
  • Strong team-player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a 2-person team.
  • Easily commutable to Epsom, Surrey.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00–16:00, with regular Saturday work required and compensated at an overtime rate.
