Domestic Violence Assist is a specialist charity supporting victims of domestic abuse through urgent legal interventions, including Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders. Our work is fast-paced, outcome-focused, and centred on securing immediate protection for clients.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from domestic abuse victims
- Assess eligibility for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders
- Gather clear and relevant information to progress cases
- Request and manage supporting documents for legal aid applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
- Liaise with relevant agencies where required
- Ensure all cases are progressed efficiently and within required timeframes
- Work in line with safeguarding procedures and organisational protocols
About You
- Experience in a high-volume administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written work
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate confidently and manage challenging conversations with a calm and measured approach
- Strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and professional boundaries
- Proven experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Understanding of domestic abuse and relevant legal processes is desirable
- IT Skills: Utilise Outlook, Word and Dropbox to manage communications and documentation effectively.
