This is a full-time, on-site role for a White Goods Appliance Engineer located in the Midlands. The role involves diagnosing and repairing faults on kitchen appliances, performing installations, and supporting customers with their maintenance needs. Additional responsibilities include managing spare parts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and delivering exceptional customer service during house visits.
Requirements:- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical kitchen appliances.
- Experience in appliance installation and maintenance (Non essential).
- Knowledge of spare parts management and safety standards compliance.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and ensure time-efficient repairs.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or appliance repair are beneficial.
- A valid driver’s license is required for conducting house visits.

As a Domestic Appliance Service Engineer, you will operate in customers' homes within the Midlands area, identifying faults and repairing various domestic appliances. You are expected to complete up to 10 calls per day, depending on the size of the area. The products you will service include dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, microwaves, hobs, cooker hoods, fridges, and freezers.
- Attend up to 10 calls a day, depending on area or job requirements.
- Ensure all electronic worksheets are accurate and updated.
- Inspect job sheets carefully to identify essential parts needed for each call.
- Collect necessary parts for the day's calls.
- Maintain an up-to-date stock in the van.
- Keep the supplied vehicle clean and presentable, performing routine maintenance checks.
- Be polite and courteous to all customers.
- Ensure high-quality work to encourage repeat business.
- Clean up any mess caused by work at the customer's property.
- Aim to complete as many calls as possible on the first visit.
- Wear the provided company uniform.
