We have an exciting opportunity for a Media & Brand Performance Lead to join our Brand & Communications team here at Domestic & General. This role is responsible for the ownership, governance, and optimisation of Brand & Communications performance across owned media channels globally. This role establishes a structured measurement framework for brand and communications activity, builds and maintains brand equity dashboards, and defines performance standards across corporate owned channels. This is a senior individual contributor role combining strategic analytics capability with hands-on social media governance. The role ensures that owned media activity is disciplined, measurable, and aligned to brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Framework
    • Design and implement a global Brand & Communications KPI framework
    • Define performance standards aligned to brand and campaign objectives
    • Establish reporting cadence and governance across markets
    • Build and maintain brand equity and communications dashboards
    • Consolidate performance data across owned channels and campaigns
    • Provide structured quarterly performance insight to senior stakeholders
  • Owned Media Governance (Social Channels)
    • Own global corporate social media channel governance
    • Act as the traffic light authority for owned social publishing
    • Define channel-specific publishing standards and cadence frameworks
    • Ensure consistent implementation of tagging, taxonomy, and reporting structures
    • Support regional teams in adhering to central governance standards
  • Campaign Performance & Optimisation
    • Partner with campaign managers to define measurable objectives
    • Clarify data capture requirements at campaign planning stage
    • Lead post-campaign performance reviews and insight summaries
    • Provide optimisation recommendations across markets
    • Identify opportunities to improve engagement quality and channel effectiveness
  • Tools & Data Stewardship
    • Own social listening, publishing, and reporting tools
    • Standardise reporting templates and taxonomy
    • Ensure data consistency and quality control across regions
    • Collaborate with external agencies where applicable

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in owned media, social media governance, or digital performance leadership
  • Advanced experience designing KPI frameworks aligned to brand and communications objectives
  • Experience building executive-level dashboards and structured reporting models
  • Strong understanding of brand equity measurement principles (awareness, consideration, engagement quality, sentiment trends)
  • High level of data literacy with ability to consolidate multiple data sources
  • Experience operating in multi-market or global environments
  • Hands-on experience managing and optimising corporate social media accounts
  • Familiarity with social listening and publishing tools (e.g., Sprout or equivalent)
