As a Supplier Risk Management & Governance Senior Manager, you'll lead the strategy, governance and oversight that helps the business manage supplier risk effectively while getting the best value from critical supplier relationships. Working across Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Legal and senior business leadership teams, you'll provide the insight, challenge and governance needed to strengthen supplier performance, resilience and accountability across a complex supplier landscape. This is a highly influential role with visibility across the organisation. You'll shape how supplier decisions are made, improve oversight of key third parties and ensure risks, performance issues and opportunities are identified early and addressed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and evolve supplier risk and governance frameworks that support strong commercial and risk outcomes.
  • Drive oversight of critical suppliers, ensuring risks, dependencies and performance issues are identified early and managed effectively.
  • Provide expert challenge and guidance on high-risk suppliers, remediation plans and governance decisions.
  • Build meaningful reporting that gives senior stakeholders clear visibility of supplier health and risk exposure.
  • Chair and lead governance forums that turn insight into action and accountability.
  • Partner with business leaders and specialist teams to embed a consistent, risk-based supplier management approach.
  • Ensure supplier practices align with regulatory, resilience, security and compliance expectations.
  • Influence strategic supplier decisions through data-driven insight and balanced commercial judgement.
  • Lead the resolution and escalation of material supplier issues, driving pace and accountability.
  • Develop and coach a specialist team, building capability across supplier risk and governance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong experience in supplier risk management, supplier governance, SRM, procurement governance or operational risk.
  • Experience working within a regulated, complex or highly outsourced environment.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier lifecycle management, risk assessment and governance frameworks.
  • Experience presenting risk and performance insight to senior leaders and committees.
  • Commercial awareness combined with sound risk judgement.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • People leadership experience with a track record of developing teams.
