Weβre excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial MI Analyst to join our Commercial MI team. The MI department is primarily responsible for providing reporting both internally and externally. The MI team works closely with and produces work for nearly every other department up to Board level to aid business decision making.
This role requires the holder to play a key part in delivering a combination of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to the rest of the organisation on behalf of the MI team. The workload features tight deadlines and the delivery of purpose-built analyses. This role will suit an individual that works well under pressure and is looking for a challenging role that will have a high impact at the heart of business matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Production of client and internal reports
- Updating, producing and checking existing reports within specific time periods in order to meet service levels with a high degree of accuracy.
- Creating reports both for clients and internal purposes according to specific requirements.
- Monitoring data quality and acting upon findings.
- Work with colleagues within MI to support and repair MI when issues are raised, implementing adjustment and improving reports to aid the team.
- Work closely with MI colleagues to jointly ensure single source of the truth data sources are agreed and utilised.
- Extract, interrogate and analyse data to support business and underwriting decision making.
- Providing analysis on an ad-hoc basis for management in other departments, and external clients.
- Analysing data to highlight possible risk areas for Domestic & General.
- Proactively liaise with key stakeholders in other departments to agree the structure and frequency of new requests and any future MI needs.
- Build and maintain effective and authentic working relationships with Partners, identify and remove causes of conflict and help foster a one-team approach to service delivery.
- Ensure all relevant information is briefed to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Deliver messages, whether positive or challenging in a constructive manner.

- Able to produce reports, within a predefined framework in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be able to organise, prioritise and work on multiple pieces of work at one time.
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a team across sites, show enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
