We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Brand to join our Strategy & Corporate Development team. The Head of Brand is a senior brand leader accountable for defining, building, governing and activating the company's brand at an enterprise level. This role owns the brand strategy, evolution, positioning and identity system, ensuring the brand is distinctive, coherent and consistently expressed across all markets, channels and touchpoints. It is responsible for translating business strategy, purpose and culture into a clear brand framework that drives commercial value, employee alignment and long-term brand equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining and delivering the global brand and campaigning strategy, ensuring it supports business objectives, growth ambitions and long-term reputation.
  • Owns the organisation's brand architecture, positioning, narrative and tone of voice, ensuring consistency and quality across all markets and channels.
  • Provides support to Brand and Comms Director in managing corporate reputation.
  • Responsible for budget ownership and investment decisions, ensuring spend delivers clear impact and value.
  • Accountable for building, leading and developing a high-performing Brand team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensures appropriate governance, standards and measurement are in place to track brand health, effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Managing development of brand equity and brand evolution through journey of growth and transformation.

Skills and experience required

  • Deep expertise in brand strategy, and reputation management, with a strong understanding of how brand drives commercial performance, customer trust and culture embedding.
  • Experience in brand repositioning.
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated communications and campaign strategy and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of digital space and how brand can be delivered across different media and channels.
  • Proficiency in brand equity, how to build and measure brand equity.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance creativity with business outcomes, using insight and data to inform decision-making.
  • Proven experience of navigating complex stakeholder environments, influencing at senior level and advising leaders during periods of change or heightened scrutiny.
  • Excellent understanding of audience insight, messaging frameworks and tone of voice, ensuring communications are relevant, consistent, and impactful.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in building, developing and inspiring high-performing teams, alongside effective agency and supplier management.
