Domestic & General’s purpose is to keep our customer’s world running by delivering an essential service that never lets them down. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Promotions Officer to join our Financial Promotions team, on a full time basis. Reporting directly into the Head of Financial Promotions, you will be responsible for reviewing and signing off financial promotions in print and digital media, created by both internal Domestic & General teams as well as client teams to ensure they are clear, fair and not misleading and deliver good outcomes for customers.

About the Role

  • Approve Financial Promotions, across a variety of media to make sure they comply with all relevant regulations and our own internal guidelines while still being innovative and effective.
  • Provide guidance and constructive feedback to stakeholders including clients to drive Right First Time ethos and minimize rework across the teams.
  • Drive the embedding of a customer first approach in the business.
  • Adhere to required record keeping practices. Produce and track MI. Support the delivery and enforcement of periodic review SLAs.
  • Support the development and delivery of policies, procedures and reporting that are practical, drive continuous improvement and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about legislation and rulings by ASA, FCA and other relevant regulatory bodies and use this knowledge to improve our Financial Promotions.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as the digital and creative services teams, to ensure clear communication about requirements and timely delivery of projects.
  • Assist with the development and roll out of Terms & Conditions – enhancing existing ones and developing new ones.

About You

  • Previous experience working in a similar role, within a regulated organisation.
  • Expert and detailed knowledge of all rules and regulations governing Financial Promotions.
  • Experience of creation of MI to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • You will be customer focused as well as delivery and outcome driven.
  • Experience of working across multiple functions and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong experience working with clients – externally and internally.
