Key Responsibilities:As an Underwriting Analyst, you will be responsible for maximising the profitability and exceeding internal budgets for our warranty business. You will report, forecast and manage the profitability of new and existing lines of warranty business across corporate and consumer products and will deliver insights that shape pricing decisions. Specific duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of warranty products and accounts and analysing their performance against cost and margin targets.
- Setting viable pricing structures for new and existing warranty business.
- Ensuring pricing, commercial arrangements and product design of warranty business deliver against cost and target margins, through accurate costing and modelling.
- Producing long-term projections of expected performance.
- Assessing and advising on warranty product risk.
- Liaising with all commercial areas of the D&G business to deliver profitable warranty products.
- Applying appropriate regulatory requirements including GDPR.
- Developing and delivering creative solutions to complex warranty design problems.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently whilst collaborating with different teams across the business.
