We’re excited to announce we’re now looking to bring in a Finance Business Partner to join Group Finance team here at Domestic & General. As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide proactive financial insight, challenge and decision support to our corporate leadership teams, enabling effective planning, performance management and strategic decision-making. This will also include acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner, translating financial data into forward-looking insight and clear actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to corporate leaders, supporting decision-making and performance delivery
  • Provide forward-looking financial insight and challenge, moving beyond reporting to influence outcomes
  • Support planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment to corporate priorities and group frameworks
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, with clear commentary on drivers, risks and opportunities
  • Lead variance analysis and performance conversations with stakeholders, driving accountability for results
  • Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions and prioritisation
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify cost efficiency opportunities and optimise spend across corporate teams
  • Ensure alignment to group FP&A standards, governance and planning frameworks
  • Contribute actively to corporate and finance forums (e.g. planning reviews, leadership meetings)
  • Collaborate with central Finance teams (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury) to ensure consistent and joined-up outputs
  • Support development of business cases, including financial evaluation and tracking of benefits delivered
  • Drive data quality, reporting consistency and effective use of planning systems
  • Build financial awareness and capability within corporate teams
  • Support audit, risk and compliance requirements in line with financial governance

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong FP&A capability (planning, forecasting, performance analysis)
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Ability to translate data into insight and challenge constructively
  • Understanding of cost drivers and financial management
  • Operating within group frameworks, governance and matrix structures
  • Scope typically spans one or more functions cost bases
  • Fully qualified ACA/CIMA or any other equivalent finance qualification
