Weβre excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Business Partner to join our Risk & Compliance team. In this role, you will provide support to the business by delivering clear, practical compliance advice on regulatory obligations and internal policies. The role works closely with the wider Compliance Advice team and functional areas to ensure ongoing adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. This is a hands-on advisory role with exposure across a range of business and compliance topics.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day compliance advice under supervision, aligned with policies and frameworks.
- Support regulatory change tracking and help communicate impacts to business stakeholders.
- Assist with drafting, updating, and communicating compliance policies and procedures.
- Contribute to compliance training materials and awareness initiatives.
- Support risk assessments, issue tracking, and thematic reviews.
- Participate in incident investigations or remediation tracking where required.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation in line with governance requirements.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and other control functions to support aligned compliance management.
- Escalate identified risks, breaches, or uncertainties promptly to senior colleagues.
- Supports interpretation of laws and regulations in collaboration with senior compliance professionals.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Previous experience of drafting compliance procedures, internal guidance, and awareness materials.
- Analytically minded to identify trends or issues in compliance data, incident reports, or business queries.
- Understanding of application of FCA Handbook including ICOBS, SYSC, PRIN, Consumer Duty and COCON is essential.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment, preferably insurance but financial services can be considered.
