Location: Hybrid working at our office in Wimbledon, UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to join our Legal & Company Secretarial team here at Domestic & General. In this role, which reports to the Deputy Company Secretary, you will play a key part in delivering effective governance, statutory compliance and company secretarial support across the Domestic & General (D&G) Group, with a particular focus on our international subsidiaries and branches across various jurisdictions including the EU and US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidence drafting and reviewing board materials, minutes and statutory documentation.
  • Experience using governance systems including Diligent Boardbooks and Diligent Entities.
  • Comfortable managing the governance lifecycle of companies and branches, including accurate filings, robust recordkeeping and staying ahead of statutory changes.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate governance, company law and regulatory expectations within a complex group environment.
  • Experience supporting entity governance across multiple jurisdictions, with exposure to international structures including EU and US desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines within a cross border governance environment, navigating jurisdiction specific requirements and operational nuances.
