The Yard Shift Leader & facility supervisor is responsible for coordinating resources ensuring HSE policy and procedures are followed and complied. Also ensuring good housekeeping and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Ensure labour is utilised appropriately to match production demand including holiday cover
- Communicate effectively with the Team Leader on the opposing shift to ensure continuity of operations
- Liaise with commercial admin over material deliveries
- Liaise with production planner to ensure OTIF and production efficiency targets are met
- Proactively manage yard Health Safety & Quality procedures processes & guidelines
- Train and mentor yard personnel
- Liaise with QC department to ensure all dispatches conform to clients standards
- Ensure work orders are correctly followed and completed
- When operating forklift truck ensure Clariant safety procedures are always followed.
Requirements
- Formal Education
- Supervisor experience Preferred
- B1 & B2 Forklift License
- Attention to detail
