Bring your energy and customer-service skills to InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa as a Bell Person. This role involves welcoming guests, transporting luggage and offering practical assistance while maintaining the polished presentation expected at a luxury resort.
Responsibility
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist during departures.
- Handle, transport and deliver guest luggage safely.
- Escort guests to rooms and explain basic hotel facilities.
- Provide directions and information about resort services.
- Assist with transportation arrangements and guest requests.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Concierge teams.
- Maintain orderly luggage storage and entrance areas.
Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hotel, resort or customer-service experience is an advantage.
- Experience in bell service, porter, concierge or front-office duties is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset where driving duties are required.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest services.
- Physically capable of lifting luggage, walking and standing for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Comfortable working under pressure and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills are an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English, strong communication and customer-service skills; additional languages are an asset.
