Job Description
Warehouse Operative/HGV Driver
WAREHOUSE DRIVER – with a class 1 /C+E License OR class 2
Live Events/Entertainment industry
NW London
Salary £40k + benefits
This is a dual role for a Class 1 or class 2 driver and some warehouse duties. You will require ideally some general warehouse experience
Responsibilities Warehouse:
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vans and trucks
- Stock management of equipment using the company stock control system and hand held scanners
- Assisting the cable dept with looming/de-looming, cleaning cable and flight cases
Responsibilities Driving:
- Deliver and collect rigging equipment across the UK and occasionally Europe. Company vehicles range from small car derived vans, large vans, trucks. The role will involve driving all of these.
- Adhere to all local driving regulations, legal requirements, and the UK Highway Code
- Carry out mandatory vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures
- Have an awareness of basic vehicle maintenance for our fleet, (oil, coolant, bulbs etc)
- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, hygienic and roadworthy at all times
Qualifications:
Full UK driving license for Category C+E vehicles / class 1 or class 2
Current valid HGV Driver's Licence
Skills:
Ability to work under pressure
Proven problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail
