We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Manager to support the management of a children's residential home for young people with Learning Disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career while making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Working alongside the Home Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and support are delivered to every young person.
- Support the Home Manager in the daily running of the home
- Contribute to care planning, reviews, and multi-agency meetings
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and quality standards are consistently met
- Conduct staff supervisions, inductions, and practice support sessions
- Support Ofsted inspections and regulatory compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within a children's residential care setting
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Enhanced DBS required (support available)
Pay range and compensation package:
