Beer boasts a beautiful shingle beach, with plenty of attractions suitable for all ages nearby. The area is a haven for beautiful walks, with the nearby South West Coast Path offering stunning cliff top views. Guest areas include two comfortable lounge bars, dining room and a bright and spacious function room. The Dolphin truly is the perfect place to stay, guests return time and again to relax and enjoy fabulous H&W hospitality paired to a carefully curated menu and award winning H&W beers.

We are looking for a bright and engaging personality to join the guest services team as Night Porter at our fabulous venue.

  • Experienced as a Night Porter or in a similar guest service role
  • Well presented and able to follow standard procedures for looking after our guests including:
    • Security through the night
    • Breakfast set up
    • Duties as a fire marshal (after training)
    • Checking in/out late arrivals and early departures
    • Cleaning and maintaining our guest areas
    • Serving drinks when required
  • Confident and organized, patient and diplomatic
  • Able to work night shifts including weekends
  • Driven to maintain impeccable guest service
  • Able to reliably manage the commute
  • A great team player who cares about what you do, and always strives to be the best version of yourself
