Contract Details: 30 hours per week, including alternate weekends - 3 x 10 hour shifts
Dolphin Homes Ltd are looking for a Cook,whocan plan andprepare calorie controlled mealsfor people, at Kingfisher Court, ourhomebased in North Baddesley, Southampton.
A genuine desire and interest in preparing and providing interesting, healthy, and tasty meals on a regular basis.
Knowledge of IDDSI is essential
The Role & Responsibilities
The Cookneeds to be confident in purchasing groceries and stock control/rotation, be able to plan and publish meals ahead of time and, prepare meals in readiness for the days the Head Chef is not on rota.
Skills & Experience Requirements
You will have to demonstrate that you have the appropriate skills knowledge and experience in:
- Food preparations, particularly calorie controlled menu
- Wise purchasing, food storage and rotation
- Ability to provide against a set timetable of breakfast, lunch and dinner
