Dolphin Homes Ltd are looking for a Cook, who can plan and prepare calorie controlled meals for people, at Kingfisher Court, our home based in North Baddesley, Southampton.

A genuine desire and interest in preparing and providing interesting, healthy, and tasty meals on a regular basis is essential. Knowledge of IDDSI is also required.

The Role & Responsibilities

  • The Cook needs to be confident in purchasing groceries and stock control/rotation.
  • Be able to plan and publish meals ahead of time.
  • Prepare meals in readiness for the days the Head Chef is not on rota.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrate appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in food preparations, particularly calorie controlled menu.
  • Food Hygiene & Control.
  • Wise purchasing, food storage and rotation.
  • Ability to provide against a set timetable of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Experience of IDDSI is essential.
