Dolphin Homes is recruiting a Support Worker and Driver to join our dedicated team at Beach View, our 10-bed residential home in Middleton-on-Sea, Bognor Regis, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex behavioural challenges.

Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. The ability to drive a service vehicle to transport and accompany residents to appointments, activities, and community outings is a core part of this position. Applications without a valid UK driving licence cannot be considered.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Support Worker and Driver at Beach View, no two days are the same. You will provide practical, emotional, and personal support to help the individuals we support live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives, with driving forming an integral part of your daily role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting residents safely to appointments, activities, and community outings using a service vehicle
  • Providing personal care and supporting daily routines
  • Supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs with consistency and patience
  • Assisting with dietary plans and meal preparation
  • Teaching life skills to promote independence
  • Supporting individuals within the local Bognor Regis community
  • Accompanying service users on activities and outings
