Dolphin Homes Ltd are looking for a Cook who can plan and prepare calorie controlled meals for people, at Kingfisher Court, our home based in North Baddesley, Southampton. A genuine desire and interest in preparing and providing interesting, healthy, and tasty meals on a regular basis. Knowledge of IDDSI is essential.
The Role & Responsibilities
- The Cook needs to be confident in purchasing groceries and stock control/rotation.
- Be able to plan and publish meals ahead of time.
- Prepare meals in readiness for the days the Head Chef is not on rota.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Demonstrate appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in food preparations, particularly calorie controlled menu.
- Food Hygiene & Control.
- Wise purchasing, food storage and rotation.
- Ability to provide against a set timetable of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Experience of IDDSI essential.
