Do you enjoy partnering with senior biopharma stakeholders to influence strategic decisions across the product life cycle? Are you looking to join a high-growth, entrepreneurial consultancy where you can help shape both client strategy and the future growth of the business? If so, consider a career at Prescient.

We are looking for a Director to join our Value Price Access practice, built on the expertise of Dolon, now part of Prescient.

With the integration of Dolon, Prescient has launched a dedicated Value Price Access practice, combining deep technical expertise with strategic advisory capabilities. Dolon brings a strong heritage in:

  • Global pricing and access strategy
  • Payer insights and HTA strategy
  • Access strategy in complex and high-value therapeutic areas

Our work is particularly differentiated in oncology and rare diseases, where:

  • Pricing and access decisions are highly scrutinised
  • Evidence requirements are complex and evolving
  • Strategic choices have significant patient and commercial implications

As part of Prescient, we now deliver fully integrated strategy across Commercial, Medical, Competitive Strategy and Access, helping clients maximise asset value across the entire product life cycle. This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist, strategy-led access team within a broader, market-leading consultancy platform.

As a Director, you will play a senior leadership role within the Value Price Access practice, sponsoring high-impact strategic engagements for global biopharma clients and contributing to the continued growth of the business. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to address critical strategic questions such as:

  • How should a novel oncology asset be positioned to maximise reimbursement potential globally?
  • What evidence generation strategies are required to support value in rare diseases?
  • How should global pricing strategy evolve across increasingly complex payer environments?
  • How can market access risks be anticipated and mitigated early in development?
  • What franchise-level access and policy strategies will support long‑term commercial success?

Your time will be broadly split across:

  • ~65% project sponsorship and strategic client leadership
  • ~35% business development and account growth, along with people leadership, capability building and practice development

You’ll be part of a fast‑growing, PE‑backed organisation, where senior leaders play an active role in shaping client impact, team development and the future direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Leadership
    • Sponsor and oversee multiple value, pricing and access strategy engagements across the product life cycle
    • Provide strategic direction across complex, high‑value projects involving global market access, pricing, reimbursement and value strategy
    • Guide teams in synthesising evidence, research and payer insights into clear, commercially relevant recommendations
    • Ensure project quality, scientific rigour and strategic relevance across all client deliverables
    • Oversee project scope, resourcing, timelines and financial performance
    • Lead senior‑level client workshops, advisory boards and strategic discussions
    • Provide oversight of quantitative and qualitative analyses in partnership with analytics and cross‑functional teams
    • Support integrated strategic solutions across Commercial, Medical and Competitive Strategy practices
  • Client Leadership & Account Growth
    • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to client stakeholders
    • Build long‑term relationships across key client accounts
    • Identify opportunities for follow‑on work and broader strategic partnerships
    • Lead and contribute to business development activities, including proposals, pitches and capability presentations
    • Drive revenue growth within existing and new accounts
    • Represent the practice externally through conferences, thought leadership and industry engagement
  • Team & Practice Leadership
    • Line manage, coach and mentor consultants and junior team members
    • Develop high‑performing teams through structured coaching, feedback and professional development
    • Support recruitment, onboarding and talent development initiatives
    • Contribute to performance review, promotion and talent calibration discussions
    • Lead internal capability‑building initiatives, including training programmes and knowledge sharing
    • Contribute to the strategic growth and operational development of the Value Price Access practice
    • Foster collaboration and connectivity across Prescient’s broader consulting teams
  • Thought Leadership & Expertise Development
    • Develop and contribute to externally facing thought leadership in value, pricing and access strategy
    • Build recognised expertise in at least one core area of the Value Price Access offering
    • Support the development of innovative methodologies, frameworks and strategic approaches
    • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Prescient’s integrated consulting capabilities
