We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our studio on a 3 to 6-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with our industrial design team on an exciting, high-profile project. You’ll be involved in every stage of the process, from research and concept development through to execution and final artwork, ensuring high-quality creative output across all touchpoints. This role is offered on a pro-rata salary and is office-based.
DUTIES
- Participation in ideation and concept development sessions
- Translating ideas into strong visual and expressive concepts
- Designing visual concepts for product expression, communication and interaction
- Creating and evolving face-level graphics such as expressions, states and notifications
- Rolling out a visual concept across multiple expressions and states as a coherent system
- Graphic design, visualisation and presentation creation
- Supporting early-stage exploration through sketches, storyboards and motion tests
- Developing basic 2D motion concepts and animations where appropriate
- Collaborating closely with the industrial design team, reporting to the Creative Director
- Presenting work clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients
- Overseeing artwork, layouts, and final production files
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES (REQUIRED)
- BA or MA degree in Graphic Design
- At least five years of industry experience (post-graduation)
- Strong creative, conceptual, and visual design skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically about visual communication
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
- Detail-oriented with high standards of craft and finish
- Ability to present work clearly and persuasively
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable leading creative projects from concept to delivery
- Interest in product design, interaction and expressive visual systems
- Able to work in the UK
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES (BENEFICIAL)
- Able to start immediately or with a short notice period
- 2D motion graphics skills (e.g. After Effects)
- Experience creating expressive or character-driven graphics
- Basic 3D animation skills (e.g. Blender) for concept testing
- Experience working within a product or industrial design studio

The position will be based in our London office (Hackney, E2). Working from home is offered (one day per week). Please note we do not offer working from abroad, all employees are expected to be in our London studio a minimum of 4 days a week.
