Dolmen Insurance, a long-established insurance broker, are looking to recruit a Personal Lines Executive in our Newry office. We are seeking highly motivated and competitive individuals to join our Broker team and drive the expansion of our business.
Your primary responsibility will be to proactively seek out and acquire new clients, understanding their specific insurance needs and offering tailored solutions. By building strong relationships, your aim will be to facilitate business growth, delight our clients, and enhance our reputation in the market.
As a Personal Lines Executive, you will play a crucial role in promoting our insurance products and services. This will involve engaging with potential and existing clients, showcasing the benefits of our offerings, and effectively closing sales. Additionally, you will actively contribute to our marketing efforts and stay updated on industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
What you will be responsible for:
- Sell products to new clients and retain existing clients
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling appropriate products
- Provide excellent advice to clients on suitable home, motor, and personal insurance products to meet their needs
- Handle new business quotations, renewals, and policy amendments with accuracy
- Put the Client at the centre of everything we do including responding promptly to customer queries and providing clear, helpful guidance, advice, and documentation in accordance with FCA regulations
- Build rapport with clients and foster ongoing customer loyalty
- Liaise with insurance providers to source the most competitive cover
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team to deliver excellent service
- Manage administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations including maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Maintain high levels of client confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with internal operating procedures and FCA regulations
Knowledge and experience required:
- 2 years+ experience in personal lines insurance
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products
- IT proficient and experience with software house platforms
Skills required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident engaging with internal colleagues and insurers
- Ability to be part of a growing team, collaborating daily
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-driven and motivated
Desirable Criteria:
- CII qualification (or progress towards)
Remuneration Package:
