Dolmen Insurance, a long-established insurance broker, is looking to recruit a Commercial Lines Account Manager in our Newry office. We are seeking highly motivated, talented and experienced individuals to join our Broker team and drive the expansion of our business.
Your primary responsibility will be to proactively seek out and acquire new commercial lines clients, understanding their specific insurance needs and offering tailored solutions to protect their business. By building strong relationships, your aim will be to facilitate business growth, delight our clients, and enhance our reputation in the market.
In conjunction with our Commercial Account Director, we are seeking an experienced, talented and driven Commercial Account Manager to join our growing commercial team in Northern Ireland. You will focus on developing new clients, providing insurance solutions and excellent customer service, showcasing the benefits of Dolmen Insurance and effectively closing sales with the support of the local team in Newry.
What you will be responsible for:
- Creating and owning a clear and robust sales plan to generate pipeline sales opportunities
- Developing new client relationships from initial contact through to completion
- Owning and managing clients through new business, ongoing engagement and renewals
- Providing advice to clients
- Engaging with our insurance partners to secure suitable insurance covers for clients
- Delivering high quality service to our clients
- Providing monthly reporting
- Maintaining high levels of client confidentiality
- Ensuring compliance with internal operating procedures and FCA regulations
Knowledge and experience required:
- 2 years+ experience in a similar new business or account management role (broking or Insurance Company)
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products
- Performance and Target driven mindset to achieve key results
- IT proficient (Word/Excel and PowerPoint)
Skills required:
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident engaging with customers and insurers
- Ability to be part of a growing team, collaborating daily
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build and manage effective relationship skills
Desirable Criteria:
- CII qualification (or progress towards)
Remuneration Package:
