Wij zoeken een docent Wiskunde 1e graads voor het schooljaar 2026-2027, 0,8 – 1,0 Fte regulier.
Als docent Wiskunde geef je op een aansprekende manier les aan leerlingen van het havo/vwo. Je denkt mee over de ontwikkeling van jouw vak en het onderwijs van de school. Je vindt het leuk om leerlingen te inspireren en te stimuleren zodat ze zich verder kunnen ontwikkelen, ook op persoonlijk vlak. Jij brengt het beste in de leerlingen naar boven!
Ubbo Emmius Stationslaan is een actieve school. In jouw functie begeleid je op school en daarbuiten leerlingen tijdens diverse projecten en het profielwerkstuk en neem je deel aan verschillende schoolevenementen en voorlichtingsactiviteiten. Je inspireert havo- en vwo-leerlingen in hun educatieve en persoonlijke groei, maakt ze enthousiast voor jouw vak, begeleidt in hun individuele talentontwikkeling en bereidt ze voor op hun vervolgopleiding. Dit is het belangrijkste in jouw rol als docent aan de Stationslaan, een vestiging met ongeveer 700 leerlingen.
Een bijdrage leveren aan de ontwikkeling van onze leerlingen doe je niet alleen, maar samen met een toegewijd team van collega’s, mentoren en decanen. We hebben veel aandacht voor het pedagogische klimaat en sturen op kwaliteit. Nieuwe collega’s krijgen begeleiding, o.a. door een docentcoach. Onze vestiging kent een duidelijke sectiestructuur met aandacht voor de doorlopende leerlijn. Tegelijkertijd werken we veel vakoverstijgend.
Aan de Stationslaan krijgen leerlingen al meer dan 100 jaar les. Het monumentale pand is in de loop der jaren uitgebreid en aangepast aan de onderwijsvoorzieningen van deze tijd. Naast havo en vwo hebben de leerlingen ook de mogelijkheid om een bijzondere opleiding te kiezen zoals Technasium, Gymnasium en Cambridge English. Voor hoogbegaafde leerlingen bieden we een speciaal programma: Metis. Daarmee krijgen zij extra begeleiding voor executieve functies, huiswerk en vakoverstijgende projecten.
