We are currently seeking an exceptional Store Director for our outstanding Old Bond Street Flagship store.
Main Responsibilities
- Achievement of Store Sales Goals.
- Control of Store expenses.
- Assure exemplary levels of client service through constant monitoring, assessing and coaching of the staff while managing client development.
- Assure stock fill-in on basics and purchase assortment to achieve Store goals.
- Merchandise presentation to maintain the direction of the collection and maximize sales.
- Maintain overall Store presentation that includes overseeing Maintenance, Housekeeping, Professionalism and Organization.
- Smooth Store operations through confident and knowledgeable decision-making.

- Effective staff management through:
- Recruitment of the best candidates.
- Training and Development is 25% of the Manager’s job. The SM must oversee training conducted by other staff members ensuring that product knowledge, client service, systems, procedures and teamwork are adequately covered. In addition, the SM prepares personnel development plans for the staff, which include clear, measurable goals.
- Create an environment, which generates high levels of morale and team spirit. Group activities, contests and special employee benefits, with advance approval by Corporate, should be encouraged.
- Ensure adequate coverage levels through review and approval of all schedules; daily zone and break schedules, weekly and vacation schedules. Additionally, all managers’ schedules must be synchronized to ensure proper management presence in the Store at all times.
- General Store meetings should be conducted weekly to convey information to staff on overall employee and sales related issues, product knowledge, etc. Every morning, daily sales expectations, new shipments and the day’s priorities should be reviewed within each department or through a general meeting.
- Recommend sales and marketing strategies to achieve goals.
- Effective and focused communication with all levels, especially clients, staff and Corporate Office.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience, preferably in the luxury sector.
- Exceptional organizational skills, follow through and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving attitude.
- Able to assess priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Collaborative spirit and proactive attitude.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK.
