About the Role
Dojo, a rapidly growing fintech company, is looking for a talented Mid‑Market Account Executive to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you'll drive revenue growth and contribute significantly to the success of our direct sales business. Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales
- Execute a strategic sales plan in alignment with Dojo’s overarching objectives.
- Drive the closure of successful opportunities in the UK mid‑market by proactively identifying and pursuing sales leads.
- This requires developing and executing effective strategies in collaboration with various internal departments.
- Focus specifically on opportunities with between £1 million to £20 million in card turnover.
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, which will involve periodic on‑site visits and work at client locations.
- Relationship Building and Collaboration
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision‑makers in target organisations to promote Dojo’s solutions and secure profitable agreements.
- Grow Dojo’s mid‑market sales network through effective collaboration with marketing and other cross‑functional teams.
- Provide support to the account management department concerning contract renewals on a periodic basis.
- Work closely with Dojo’s Partnership channel to nurture and grow our relationship with them to encourage future lead generation.
- Develop and manage new affiliate partnerships, establishing these as personal, dedicated lead sources.
- Market Insight and Process Optimisation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements.
- Contribute to the continuous optimisation of sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Deliver comprehensive reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior stakeholders.
- Keep Salesforce records up‑to‑date by consistently logging client conversations and activities, and accurately maintaining opportunity details such as the close date and sales stage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience selling card payment solutions in the UK market.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong sales and negotiation expertise within the mid‑market segment, specifically in verticals such as hospitality, retail, healthcare, and leisure & entertainment.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in strategic account planning and execution.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and adapt quickly to changes in a fast‑paced sales environment.
