The Role...
We are looking for talented Business Development Representatives to join our dynamic team and help build this completely new department. As one of the founding members you will not only be instrumental in helping build up the outbound sales pipeline to drive new business, but will also play a pivotal role in helping lay the foundations for how the role, team and department will be structured and set up for the future. The Dojo leadership team believes that this new department and team will play a key role that will help drive revenue growth in the ÂŁ1m - ÂŁ20m, mid-market segment.
What You'll Do...
- Be a master in the art of outbound prospecting and cold outreach, utilising a combination of phone, email and social media engagement channels.
- Schedule and conduct calls and meetings to carry out discovery with potential merchants.
- Use effective questioning and listening skills to uncover merchants needs, pain points, and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, update prospect information and track outreach efforts in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues, such as marketing, product, and operations, to provide feedback and insights on the market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and events as per the requirements of the business.
What You'll Bring...
- 3+ years experience in a similar role with cold B2B outreach including calls, emails & social media platforms, preferably in either the payments, finance or tech industries.
- Proven sales hunter with experience and track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong prospecting and engagement expertise specifically within the mid-market segment. Experience working with hospitality, retail, healthcare, and leisure & entertainment industries is a plus.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced sales environment.
