We're reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing. Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we're just getting started. Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
Core Payments is the engine behind every transaction at Dojo. Within this domain, our Operational Excellence team builds the products and solutions that power our internal operations. These products keep us scalable, efficient, and resilient - enabling Dojo to serve more merchants while keeping overheads low.
As Product Owner for Operational Excellence, you'll sit at the intersection of business and technology. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to design solutions that automate manual processes, remove bottlenecks, and unlock efficiency at scale. It's a role with direct impact: the work you deliver is critical to keeping Dojo's service seamless as we grow, while strengthening our bottom line.
This is an opportunity to own and drive the strategy for Operational Excellence, developing a roadmap that aligns with Dojo's company goals, stakeholder needs, and technical infrastructure. You'll be the voice of our "customers" - the internal teams who rely on these tools to keep Dojo running at its best.
What You Will Do
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Operational Excellence. Define a clear path for scaling our operations while keeping costs low and efficiency high.
- Act as the bridge between business and tech. Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
- Partner with engineering. Work hand-in-hand with the team lead to understand technical opportunities and constraints, shaping solutions that are both impactful and feasible.
- Drive stakeholder engagement. Interface with a broad set of teams across Dojo, balancing competing priorities and making trade-offs that serve the bigger picture.
- Champion the internal customer. Represent our operational teams and ensure their needs are built into every product decision.
- Deliver outcomes. Keep multiple streams of work organised and moving, ensuring projects land on time and with measurable impact.
What You Will Bring
- Analytical experience: Ideally 2+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Customer-centric mindset: You instinctively put customer needs first and can represent diverse segments with clarity and empathy.
- High emotional intelligence: You manage complex stakeholder dynamics, build trust, and influence collaboratively.
- Business acumen: You connect billing decisions to broader business strategy and know how to balance competing priorities.
- Technically fluent: You can work directly with engineers, understanding both constraints and opportunities behind billing systems.
- Organised operator: You can manage multiple streams of work in a high-traffic, high-impact product space without losing focus.
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These "together days" foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas. That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week. With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
If you're curious, relentless, and customer obsessed, you're a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values. If the following speak to you, let's talk:
- You're curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
- You're relentless. You keep going even when it's easier not to.
- You're customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
