Location
Our Account Executive will be an integral part of our CloudOps Sales team in EMEA. This role is based remotely in the UK within an easily commutable distance to London. There is an expectation to commute to London at least once per week.

The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you will apply best-in-class pipeline generation techniques to identify new prospects within the UK. You will be responsible for the entire new business sales cycle, including solution pitching, deal management, negotiations, and closing a high number of opportunities. Using your passion and knowledge of both DoiT’s services and the customer\\\’s chosen technology (AWS), you will drive expansion of the business.
Responsibilities
- Deliver against assigned quota and pipeline goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience to our prospects
- Contribute to territory strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities
- Work closely with AWS Executives and Partner Managers to maximize business results and cultivate opportunities
- Collaborate with Customer Reliability Engineers and Customer Engineers as a critical part of the sales process
- Ensure forecast accuracy (Salesforce), proposals and contracts are of the highest standard
- Lead customers through the entire business cycle to achieve strategic goals
- Understand complex customer requirements on business and technical levels
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development on lead generation and campaigns from conception to post-launch analysis
- Content with 30-40% travel per month for AWS meetings, events and customer meetings
Qualifications
- Fluent English
- Proven experience selling AWS/GCP cloud products & services
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in technology with Cloud Reseller, Cloud Vendor, SaaS, PaaS or IaaS
- Proven experience selling cloud products and/or services
- Consistent record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- High degree of self-discipline and experience using CRM systems and sales forecasting
- Technically minded with deep understanding of the technology and cloud computing market; passion for AWS products
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build influential relationships in a cross-functional environment
- Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough and tenacious
- Analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented with ability to zoom in/out from big picture to detail
- Ability to operate flexibly and independently in a fast-paced, evolving team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal
- Great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work
