Senior Product Designer - PerfectScale by DoiT (Portugal / Contractor) Remote EMEA

Our Senior Product Designer will be an integral part of our Product Management team in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia, Israel or Spain. We are also open to contractors in East Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity: DoiT is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Senior Digital Product Designer to join our PerfectScale by DoiT team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on digital product experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, engaging, and user-friendly. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Applying modern Product Design methodologies in the creation of design artifacts (flows, journeys, wires, mocks, prototypes, specs).
• Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams to bring designs to life.
• Working with cross-functional team members in the execution and delivery of PerfectScale products, using a customer-focused, iterative design process.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, product management, PMM and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.
• Creating user-centered designs based on research and insights, including but not limited to user flows, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
• Participating in various methods of critiquing and evaluating design including usability testing and iterating on designs based on feedback.
• Acting as a user advocate to ensure the end product offers a high-quality user experience.
• Participating in the development and maintenance of the design system utilizing the latest industry techniques and best practices.

Key Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital product experiences.
• A deep passion to think differently and challenge conventional approaches to design.
• Proven expertise in multiple areas of Digital Product Design including Interaction Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Production Design, Research, and Digital Prototyping.
• Mastery of Figma, and various prototyping tools.
• Ability to build and organize high-quality and consistent design artifacts including flow diagrams, journey maps, wireframes, lo and hi-fi mockups, simple prototypes, design specifications, and related documentation.
• Proven experience leading Design System initiatives and deep expertise in Design Systems best practices.
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills.
• Experience working on a high-performing team, collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, leadership, and other key partners.
• An online portfolio of professional work is required.
