Location: Our Business Development Manager will be an integral part of our Sales team in EMEA. This role is based remotely in the UK, Ireland, Sweden or Estonia.

The Opportunity: We’re looking for a hands-on, results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our EMEA BDR team. You will be responsible for coaching, managing, and scaling a high-performing team focused on generating qualified pipeline. This is a pivotal role that bridges go-to-market strategy with day-to-day execution across sales and marketing. You’ll report to the Global Director of Business Development and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement to ensure pipeline goals are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Own pipeline accountability for your BDR team by tracking and managing performance against unveil, monthly, and quarterly targets (meetings set, qualified opportunities, and sourced pipeline).
- Coach and develop BDRs through 1:1s, call coaching, and weekly training to drive messaging consistency, outbound effectivity, and conversion.
- Monitor KPIs (activity, conversion, performance) in Salesforce and outreach tools to identify trends, areas of improvement, and course-correct when needed.
- Partner with Sales to ensure tight alignment between BDRs and AEs through clear rules of engagement, territory planning, and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Enablement to launch multi-channel outbound campaigns and ensure message-market fit across segments.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp of new BDRs by partnering with People and Enablement on structured onboarding plans and role expectations.
- Provide training and coaching on effective prospecting and go-to-market execution, including multi-channel outreach, tool utilization, and building strong, productive relationships with Sales Reps and partners.
- Leverage CRM and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, Gong) to track performance and enforce best operational practices.
- Participate in forecasting and QBRs, contributing insights on pipeline performance and BDR-led contribution to revenue goals.
- Continuously refine team playbooks, messaging, and workflows to scale repeatable, high-impact outbound motions.
Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in SaaS/Cloud environment.
- Proven success in building or leading a team responsible for outbound pipeline generation.
- Strong operational mindset with experience using Salesforce, Outreach, and other GTM tools to manage and optimize team performance.
- Experience coaching reps on outbound prospecting, discovery, and objection handling.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially for training and executive communication.
- Data-driven and process-oriented with the ability to translate insight into action.
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to travel for events as needed.
