Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality patient care and conduct comprehensive assessments within the General Adult Psychiatry Ward.
- Develop individualised treatment plans for each patient.
- Maintain compliance with all legal obligations prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice.
- Assess patients under the MHA and make recommendations as a Responsible Clinician (RC).
Qualifications & Experience
- Full GMC licence to practice.
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status.
- Previous experience in a similar adult psychiatry role.
Legal & Compliance
- Role requires Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval.
- Full compliance with the Mental Health Act and Ministry of Justice requirements.
