Overview
Vehicle Maintenance Operative.
Shift Pattern – 5 from 7, 45 hours per week.
You will work predominantly 12:00–21:30, with the flexibility to cover shifts of 03:00–12:30 and 14:00–23:30 as required. 10% hourly rate uplift between 18:00–22:00 and 20% hourly rate uplift between 22:00–06:00.
Based out of our Warrington Depot, we are looking for a qualified HGV Mechanic to carry out work on site.
You will identify and advise supervisors of any additional work required and work to complete tasks in a timely manner to DVSA standards.
You will endeavour to reduce vehicle downtime to a minimum.

Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site vehicle maintenance work and ensure DVSA standards are met.
- Identify and advise supervisors of any additional work required.
- Aim to minimise vehicle downtime and work either independently or as a team member with good communication.
- Prioritise workload and coordinate with service providers, monitoring their progress.
- Be computer literate and comfortable using compliance software.
Qualifications / Experience
- Qualified HGV Mechanic.
- Experience in maintenance, preferably in a commercial capacity (not essential).
- Able to work alone using initiative or as part of a team; good communication skills.
