As a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping some of the world’s largest digital companies connect with consumers across emerging markets.
Sitting at the intersection of business, technology, and payments, you’ll lead the technical strategy behind complex enterprise opportunities, partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to design scalable payment solutions.

- What your day-to-day will look like
- Own the most strategic and complex Technical Pre-Sales engagements from discovery through solution handover to the Implementation team.
- Partner closely with the Commercial team to understand customer needs and design scalable, business-driven payment solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and solution discussions with executive stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams.
- Design end-to-end payment solutions by collaborating with Business Architecture, Product, Engineering, Regulatory, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Identify technical, operational, and regulatory risks early, proactively driving mitigation plans and stakeholder alignment.
- Create high-quality solution documentation that serves as the implementation blueprint for both customers and internal teams.
- Manage multiple enterprise opportunities simultaneously, ensuring visibility through regular progress updates to internal stakeholders.
- Drive seamless handovers to the Implementation team, ensuring solutions are fully documented and ready for execution.
- Mentor and support Technical Pre-Sales team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of best practices.
- Continuously improve Technical Pre-Sales processes, documentation, templates, and tools to increase team efficiency and scalability.
- What you need to shine in this role
- Proven experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of API-based integrations, web technologies, and cloud-based applications.
- Solid experience in the payments industry, including payment gateways, acquiring, PSPs, digital wallets, cross-border payments, or alternative payment methods.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level and VP-level executives.
- Experience working across multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Bonus points if you have Professional proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience working with payment ecosystems across Latin America, Africa, or Asia.
- Knowledge of payment integration models beyond REST APIs, such as SDKs, embedded checkout, tokenization, or hosted payment solutions.
- Experience partnering closely with Product or Engineering teams to define and evolve technical solutions.
- Previous experience mentoring technical professionals or acting as a technical reference within a team.
- Knowledge of enterprise solution architecture and complex payment infrastructures.
