If you're looking for a hands-on role where every day brings new challenges, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!The Survey and Inspection department in DOF Subsea Atlantic is looking for Survey Engineers to join our team.

This is an offshore position.

What You'll Do

  • Operate
  • Survey

Equipment: Use state-of-the-art technology to collect, analyse, and record data to the highest standards, ensuring everything is accurate and up to regulations.

Prepare, use, and maintain all relevant survey logs, documentation and reports.

Monitor real-time displays; examine calibration, data plots and charts/maps.

Be familiar with equipment lists, checklists, service reports, and to confirm that there is no shortage of equipment and parts

Report and follow up deficiencies, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or incidents; by using the appropriate reporting system (e. g., failure/breakdown, SJA, non-conformity)

  • Collaboration is

Key: Work alongside survey personnel onshore and offshore, ROV crew, Shift Supervisors and management to ensure smooth operations, while providing input and suggestions for improvements in team performance and operations

  • Support vessel mobilization and demobilization as needed
  • Maintain Equipment: Keep survey-related equipment in excellent working condition, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. We take pride in looking after our assets
  • Reporting & Problem-Solving: Report key findings to senior team members, identify issues, and actively contribute to solutions that optimise our workflows
  • Innovation

Focus: Get hands-on with the latest in survey technology and contribute to the development of new systems in renewable energy, offshore decommissioning, and more.
