Overview
Senior Consultant in the Master Planning & Urban Space team within Transport Planning, based in either the St Albans (Hertfordshire) or London Aldgate offices.
The role involves delivering strategic transport planning projects across the UK and globally, with a focus on pedestrian modelling and providing technical advice to public sector clients.
You will work closely with Principal Consultants and Associate Directors and guide junior staff in delivering project data.
Responsibilities
- Lead pedestrian modelling projects: develop models, undertake calibration and validation, produce technical reports and presentations.
- Provide technical, managerial and financial support to Principal Consultants and Associate Directors; mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills and professional development.
- Help prepare scope and fee estimates for new projects and ensure projects are delivered to budget with KPIs met.
Qualifications / Experience
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of technically leading pedestrian modelling projects.
- Proficient in developing models, calibration and validation, and in producing reports and presentations.
- Some experience in project management and supervisory responsibilities.
