Overview
Senior/Principal 3D Modeller to join the Renewable energy team based in Glasgow.
Provide full Civil 3D modelling support across the Renewables Business Unit, providing methodologies and procedures where necessary.
Work independently with an established understanding of civil engineering and best practices, to contribute to the design process.
Collaborate with a broad spectrum of experience levels across multiple disciplines as part of the iterative design process.
Deliverables include pre-feasibility, concept design, tender/estimation, and detailed design/construction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver earthwork design and analysis primarily for tracks, roads, intersections, laydown construction areas, volumes analysis, and drainage.
- Process, annotate, and present design data as project deliverables.
- Document Control.
- Proficient in Auto CAD Civil 3D and in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in producing construction details and technical drawings.
- Knowledge or implementation of the ISO 19650 framework.
- Mentoring: work collaboratively and iteratively within a design team of varied experience levels; provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Liaise with internal and external design teams.
- Operate CAD software for internal and external meetings and presentations.
- Process CAD data for use with other software platforms.
- Adhere to client and AECOM CAD standards during all CAD activities.
- Outputs/Deliverables: dynamic 3D models using Auto CAD Civil 3D; design drawing deliverables using Auto CAD; presentation material for project bids and design reviews.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Auto CAD Civil 3D.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in producing construction details and technical drawings.
- Knowledge or implementation of ISO 19650 framework.
- Ability to mentor and work collaboratively in a team with varied levels of experience.
