Responsibilities
- Providing the organization’s data consumers with high‑quality data sets by curating, consolidating, and manipulating data from a wide variety of large‑scale (terabyte and growing) sources.

- Developing and improving enterprise data marts by creating efficient and scalable data models to be used across the organization.

- Managing data pipeline SLA and dependency management.

Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of data engineering or general software development experience.
- Experience with large datasets (terabyte scale and growing) and familiarity with Hadoop, Hive, Big Query, Snowflake, MS SQL, Postgre SQL/My SQL.
- Comprehensive data design and data modeling experience.
- Solid experience developing complex ETL processes from concept to implementation, including SLA definition, performance measurement, and monitoring.
- Advanced SQL query and data exploration skills across large datasets.
- Systems performance and optimization experience, with an eye for how architecture and design impact performance and scalability.
- Experience in functional programming with Python (or an equivalent language).
- Strong software engineering principles and a self‑paced, organized, detail‑oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage business and technical teams.
- Proven record of technical leadership on medium to large‑size projects and handling challenging deadlines.
- Intense curiosity, enthusiasm for solving difficult problems, and ability to simplify complex challenges.
- Experience with task orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Comfortable working in a Linux CLI environment and designing high‑scale, fault‑tolerant, and performant distributed applications.
