We are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant into the Master Planning & Urban Space team of our Transport Planning Business in either the St Albans (Hertfordshire) or London Aldgate offices. You will work within a large, collaborative team and support the delivery of strategic transport planning projects across the UK and globally. Your role will be transport planning focusing on pedestrian modelling and/or traffic microsimulation modelling, working mostly with public sector clients, and providing technical advice.
In this role you will work closely with our Principal Consultants and Associate Directors within the Master Planning & Urban Space team; you will be expected to guide and assist junior staff in effectively delivering project data. You will need to have knowledge and demonstrable experience of technically leading pedestrian modelling/traffic microsimulation projects and be proficient with developing models, undertaking calibration and validation, producing reports and presentations, and have some experience of project management and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities- Provide support to Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on technical, managerial and financial matters.
- Mentor junior staff to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
- Help prepare scope and fee estimates for new projects and ensure projects are delivered to budget and that KPIs are met.
