About the Opportunity

We’re proud to be working as the internal recruitment partner for our client – a world-class organisation providing advanced manufacturing solutions for the aerospace sector.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Goods Inwards, Stores & Despatch Operative to join the team in Romford.

What you’ll be doing

  • Receiving and accurately storing finished manufactured parts.
  • Ensuring all stock is processed correctly on the MRP system.
  • Picking and packing customer orders with precision and care.
  • Preparing outbound shipments with the correct documentation.
  • Coordinating collections with approved couriers.
  • Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a tidy, organised stores area.
  • Working closely with colleagues and couriers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Successful candidate requirements
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive, positive attitude.
  • High attention to detail with great organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in stores, despatch or goods inwards is desirable (but not essential – full training is provided).
  • Familiarity with MRP systems would be an advantage.
  • Must live within commuting distance of Romford.

  • A highly competitive salary of £30,683 per annum.
  • Working hours Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm.
  • 23 days holiday increasing to 26 days after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays.
