The Product Specialist (PS) for GLG’s Expert Content Library & Feed solutions will serve as the subject matter expert for the expanding API & MCP product offering for GLG content. They will be influential in the client facing go to market efforts, as well as the strategic direction of the product roadmap based on evidence from their frontline interactions. The PS will liaise between commercial, client service, compliance, legal, and our product/engineering teams to produce positive outcomes for GLG and our clients.

Key Roles Responsibilities:

  • Lead client & prospect product demonstrations and field technical questions regarding Library and content API feeds & MCP solutions.
  • Internal SME for commercial and service teams regarding Library and content feeds.
  • Lead internal trainings for frontline teams on our offering to best position across our clients.
  • Coordinate with VPs & Account Managers in GTM efforts including building target lists and developing outreach plans in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Manage the Expert Content Library, API Feed, MCP pipeline in SFDC.
  • Weekly reporting on commercial progress (pitches, trials, conversions).
  • Diagnose when a client's need is best served by self-service content consumption (Library), structured data ingestion (Feed), primary research at scale (Survey Data Feeds), programmatic access to call content (Call API Feeds), and/or facilitated expert engagements (Moderated AI Calls).
  • Own internal steering committee segment in monthly meeting.

  • Developing quality pipeline through initial go-to-market efforts.
  • Demonstrate ownership of the product and direction.
  • Completed demos and pitch calls with clients and prospective customers.
  • Library user growth and consumption across the book.
  • Converted Library & Feed subscriptions.

Ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Driven self-starter with a commercial mindset can translate technical concepts into business value for investment professionals while maintaining credibility with data and engineering stakeholders.
  • Comfortable speaking with clients and can articulate this offering as a part of GLGs broader product suite.
  • Understands GLGs customer personas and the differences between Hedge Funds, PE, Investment Banks, and Asset Managers and how they are utilizing AI workflows.
  • Passionate about the emergence of AI workflows for FS clients and how to help them navigate.
  • Working knowledge of how client-side Data Science, Quant Research, and Data Engineering teams consume alternative data, including familiarity with model training inputs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and how unstructured expert content can be operationalized in client workflows.
  • Understands the role of emerging integration patterns such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) and API/feed-based connectors in delivering data to client AI systems, and can speak credibly to data teams about ingestion, entitlement, and downstream use cases.
