Portsmouth University Hospital Trust is recruiting Band 5 Radiographers with a passion for plain film. This is an excellent opportunity to welcome newly qualified Radiographers with HCPC registration to join our dynamic and friendly team. We would of course also welcome applications from experienced Radiographers wishing to relocate and looking for new challenges.
Job Summary
To conduct diagnostic radiography examinations across a range of general radiography, upon a range of patient types both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi professional team, in a manner that meets professional, departmental and legal standards and requirements. To independently assess each patient and adapt radiographic techniques according to the needs of the patient. To use professional discretion and experience to ensure that clinical practice is carried out correctly, professionally and within the legal framework.
Currently we have opportunities for both full and part-time working so if you need to have flexible working, we can cater for this too. As we are a 24/7 department, commitment to join the out of hours rota is required. We are a Trust that recognises the integral role that every member of our imaging team plays, working collaboratively to provide the comprehensive and compassionate care that every patient deserves.
