About us

i6 provides the world's most advanced end-to-end Aviation fuel management technology - enabling operational efficiency, transparency, and sustainability for airlines, fuel service providers, and suppliers. Our cloud-based solutions digitise the entire aviation fuel lifecycle through real-time fuel inventory and into-plane management platforms, patented electronic refuelling technology, and advanced fuel analytics and insights. With the adoption of our technology, our customers have been able to reduce thousands of tonnes of CO2 and benefited from millions in cost savings. We are a remote-first company; however, for this role, we require you to be able to come into our London office once a week.

Your new role

As our People Business Partner, you'll drive the strategic alignment of our people operations, total rewards, and business objectives during an exciting phase of growth.

  • Engagement & Culture - cultivating a remote-first, inclusive environment built on transparency, open feedback, and collaborative ownership, where achievements are recognised and rewarded.
  • Business Partnering - working proactively with leadership as a trusted advisor, coaching teams and driving a high-performance culture.

What you will do

  • Create internal communications and campaigns that translate our values and cultural milestones into engaging messaging, keeping our remote-first workforce aligned to a shared purpose.
  • Manage feedback loops (town halls, quarterly events) that share information downward while elevating employee voices to leadership.
  • Partner with leaders to embed EDI principles into everyday behaviours, systems, and decision-making (reviews, promotions, team dynamics), fostering genuine belonging and psychological safety.
  • Own our continuous listening strategy - surveys, pulses, focus groups - and help managers turn results into transparent, co-created action plans.
  • Design initiatives that bridge departmental silos and build strong cross-team connections.
  • Drive continuous feedback, real-time coaching, and clear goal-setting frameworks linking daily work to strategic objectives.
  • Improve our performance review process, lead calibration sessions, and train managers to evaluate fairly and objectively.
  • Equip managers to give constructive feedback, address underperformance early, and stretch high performers.
  • Embed and monitor recognition frameworks to ensure fair, behaviour-aligned recognition across demographics, levels, and working setups.
  • Optimise our remote-first working strategy, balancing productivity with wellbeing, and coach leaders to manage async workflows and spot burnout early.
  • Act as the dedicated People Business Partner for designated functions, coaching line managers through performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
  • Support organisational design as we scale, including role scoping, restructures, and TUPE.
  • Contribute to and help evolve the global i6 People Strategy, leading designated initiatives end-to-end.
  • Build high-trust relationships across the Executive Team, Management Team, Line Managers, Finance, and the wider People Team.
  • Manage engagement vendors, negotiating favourable terms and holding them to high SLAs.

Who you are

  • Proven experience as a People Business Partner/HRBP with strong generalist exposure, ideally within a scaling technology, SaaS, or high-growth international business. As a guide, a PBP at i6 has 8+ years relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience running employee engagement surveys, EDI benchmarking initiatives, and performance management systems.
  • Track record of leading change management or organisational projects from concept through to execution (e.g. restructures, TUPE, process redesign).
  • University degree and CIPD qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data modelling) and experience working with modern HRIS systems.
  • Experience producing internal communications or campaign material for a workforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders and executive leadership, backed by strong written and verbal communication.
  • Experience operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with competing priorities.
