Consultant in Adult Psychiatry – Grade: Consultant – Location: Norwich, Norfolk – Working Hours: 40 – Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults.
- Evaluate mental health challenges, considering personal history and symptoms.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
- Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
- Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well‑being of those in your care.
Qualifications
- Full GMC licence to practice.
- Section 12 Approved Clinician.
- Proven experience in relevant field.
